What do I need to buy a Key Code?
- Be registered with the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF). They will provide you with an ID number and password. Both are needed to obtain codes.
- Verify that the code is for the registered owner of the vehicle or his or her authorized agent is the requestor.
- Verify that the registration matches the subject vehicle.
- Secure a valid VIN Number.
- The vehicle license plate number and state.
- Valid credit card with the billing address, card number, CVV number, and expiration date.

How do I get Key Code support?
- Click on the “For Support with Key Codes, Contact Us Here” link. Fill in the required information and click “Submit”.
- Customer Service will respond via email or phone within 1 business day. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM EST. (Excludes Holidays)

What is the cost of a Key Code and Vehicle PIN or Auth Pin?

Where can I purchase key FOBs?

Will I receive verification of my key code (except Chrysler Crossfire, Dodge Sprinter, FIAT® Brand vehicles, and ALFA ROMEO Brand vehicles) purchase?
- Yes, the key codes will be displayed once the transaction has been complete. You can print this confirmation screen as a receipt. Your credit card statement will also be valid as a receipt for this transaction.

Can I buy a subscription for this service to obtain multiple codes?
- No, each transaction is recorded by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and needs to be processed and paid for individually.

Can my request be rejected by the NASTF or NICB?
- Your request can only be rejected if you do not meet the necessary qualifications. (See “what do I need to buy a Key Code”).

- A subscription to TechAuthority Online can be obtained at www.TechAuthority.com

How do I get a refund if the code is wrong or does not work?
- Click on the “For Support with Key Codes, Contact Us Here” link. Fill in the required information and click “Submit”.
- The help desk will take your request for a refund and forward it to the FCA US Locksmith Department.
- A background check will be done on the transaction for verification.
- A refund will be issued if there are no discrepancies, however the transaction will still be recorded with the NICB (National Insurance Crime Bureau).
